True Worshipers

John 4:23-24 NIV 

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
After many years as a worship leader thinking that this verse of the scripture refers mostly the us as worship leaders but it became more clearing to me this morning that everyone is involved in this scripture. 

We were having fellowship this morning and a brother in the meeting was leading in prayer and quoted this scripture but took a different approach to it. Out of the many things he said, one thing sticked to my heart, he said "a true worshipper is not a singer, but all who worship God with a pure heart, also in Spirit and in truth. This kept me thinking all through even as I try to shift from my formal thought as a worship leader, but this is the truth I wanted to hear and it have changed my thought about worship. 

You don't have to sing to be a true worshipper. Worship is an act not a performance.
In a worship session, as much as we have the opportunity to lead as worship leaders, we also have to know that everyone is involved and so it's not about us but about God. A complete worship is one that involves everybody. It's one that comes from a pure as its an important factor in our worship. Worship comes from the heart and if the heart is not pure it cannot produce true worship and true worship comes from the spirit with the help of the Holy Spirit. 

With this in mind we know everybody is involve in worship and so I can boldly say that a true worshipper is not one who sings but anyone who worship (act) with a pure heart.

The Process 2

You may need to read my first write-up on " The Process 1 " to enable you to follow through on this.  Now for that 9 years, I served in the church as a Music Director, it was not fun as I had to deal with a lot both from both within and outside my church. I never understood what to do and so there were days I was very angry and even felt like giving up (I did sometimes). I had personal issues that were distracting me from my service, but one thing kept me going and it was the love/passion I have for what I do. See, getting to the top is not easy and will never be not even in the future. The process is what builds you up to that future you desire only that you have to go through the pains which will enable you to teach others after you've overcome.
