Manifestation

Matthew 5:16 NIV
...Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

What we carry inside us is for the world to see not just our locality. Our music, talents, business, and everything about us is for the world to see, not just our church members, friends or family members. By Jesus' statement  in Matthew 5:16, he launched us into become global influencers. The earlier we understand this, the better for our lives, ministry and career.

NOTE
You can be on a local stage on aim global. Being a global influencer starts from where you are.

We can't manifest by folding our hands, watching things happen or worst still watching things get bad in our environment when we are well equipped to act with our tools (music, business, talent etc). Remember what we have at hand is presently a currency that can be used to buy a lot of persons into the right side, so we have to spend it.

Let's look at the life of King David in the Holy book. There was no record of David being trained in any music school, yet his music was sold out so much so that he could cast out the demons in his days which was not normal then. He was not also trained in the act of royalty neither was he from a royal family, but as a king he did very and became the greatest king in the history of the world.

How did David get there?

As a shepherd boy, he tend his father's sheep and by so doing David learnt how to organize, manage time and be perfect in the skill of playing the harp and managing people so when an opposite to showcase came, he didn't struggle he just manifested what he has been practicing because he was prepared.

THE BIG QUESTION

  1. What are you practicing?
  2. How prepared are you to manifest?
  3. How much time are you giving to developing our skills?
  4. How much have you organized yourself to get perfection in your career?

An honest answer to this questions with set you in the path to manifestation. David was so good that it was a servant that recommended him to the King. Before his time for manifestation, he was prepared.

I still ask!!!

  • How prepared are you for your assignment?
  • Can you be recommended?
  • If you are, can you deliver?

When you're good at what you do, you don't need to advertise yourself, people will do that for you because your works will speak for you. We must pay attention to details even as we strive to manifest.

You can do/achieve anything if only you can start it.

True Worshipers

John 4:23-24 NIV  Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” After many years as a worship leader thinking that this verse of the scripture refers mostly the us as worship leaders but it became more clearing to me this morning that everyone is involved in this scripture.  We were having fellowship this morning and a brother in the meeting was leading in prayer and quoted this scripture but took a different approach to it. Out of the many things he said, one thing sticked to my heart, he said "a true worshipper is not a singer, but all who worship God with a pure heart, also in Spirit and in truth. This kept me thinking all through even as I try to shift from my formal thought as a worship leader, but this is the truth I wanted to hear and it have changed my thought ...

How to Be a Good Singer

How to Be a Good Singer 1. Work With a Professional Listening to what friends have to say or reading blog posts can be helpful but when it’s time to take the next step, you’re going to need a Vocal Coach of some kind. When you’re first starting to improve your singing skills, that person might be a Teacher in school or perhaps someone else you know who has been singing for a long time. READ MORE 2. Breathe! Breathing properly and in time is key to delivering an on-point vocal performance and it is something you will have to master if you want to be a good singer. Breathing is also, sadly, something many of those just starting out as singers don’t think about nearly enough when really it’s one of the first things that needs to be mastered in order to improve. You should take time to practice breathing (a sentence that sounds funny but is actually sound advice) before every performance. In fact, if you’re really committed to becoming a great singer and potentially pursuing th...

7 things worship leaders need to stop doing.

So I came across this video on YouTube by Allen Parr (founder of The Beat) and felt like sharing with worship leaders because it will help and improve us. Seven (7) things worship leaders need to stop doing.  1. Stop making worship about you.  Worship is not about you but about God. Stop drawing attention to yourself. Avoid distraction and lead people to God.  2. Stop singing songs that are theologically inaccurate.  As worship leader, we have the opportunity to lead people into God's presence and also teach them something about God's nature. We can't afford to lead them astray by singing lyrics that are theologically inaccurate. Always know that lyrics are so powerful that people tend to remember them quickly.  3. Stop being predictable.  Be different. Be creative. Just do something different from the normal you.  4. Stop commanding people during worship. Our job as worship leaders is to lead people into God's presence and not to command...
