We Move, God Amplifies

Those words dropped in my heart after my ministration some weeks back at my home church FIRSTLOVE ASSEMBLY Rumuokwuta. Trust me, there are things we don't say on stage so you may not really understand where I'm coming from (story for another day), but from experience I've discovered that God won't do anything in certain areas of our lives until we make the move and then He amplifies it.  

You remember the four lepers who made a move during the famine in Elisha's time (2 Kings 7:3-8). They said "all die na die" and they made that move. On getter there they saw no one because God had amplified their steps and the enemies took off and left everything they had and this hopeless men who were ready to die had more than enough that the country of Israel benefited from it also. 

I feel God does not do anything when we don't make a move because he expects us to take that bold step. I'm just here to encourage you to make that move you've always wanted to take this year. Take the step and see God amplify it. Trust me, it won't be in popular demand but you have to make it because it does not have to be what everybody is doing. Avoid procrastination this year and make that move. 

God is waiting for you, the world is waiting for you. Take action now.

7 things worship leaders need to stop doing.

So I came across this video on YouTube by Allen Parr (founder of The Beat) and felt like sharing with worship leaders because it will help and improve us. Seven (7) things worship leaders need to stop doing.  1. Stop making worship about you.  Worship is not about you but about God. Stop drawing attention to yourself. Avoid distraction and lead people to God.  2. Stop singing songs that are theologically inaccurate.  As worship leader, we have the opportunity to lead people into God's presence and also teach them something about God's nature.
