You’ll Be Fine — More Than Just Words By Godswill Frank

There’s something simple, yet deeply profound about the phrase: “You’ll be fine.” It’s just three words — easy to say, often casually thrown around — but when spoken at the right moment, they carry the weight of comfort, hope, and quiet strength.

The Power Behind the Words

We hear it when we’re scared.

We hear it when things don’t make sense.

We hear it when we’re in the middle of waiting, hurting, hoping, or healing.

“You’ll be fine” doesn’t always change the situation, but sometimes, it changes us. It whispers to the storm within: breathe. It doesn’t deny the pain — it just assures us that the pain doesn’t get the final say.

Not an Escape, But an Anchor

Some people misunderstand these words. They think it’s denial. A way to brush things aside or minimize reality. But true reassurance isn’t about escaping — it’s about anchoring. “You’ll be fine” is not a dismissal; it’s a reminder. A reminder that wounds heal, seasons change, and light returns — even if it takes time.

For the One Who’s Tired

If you’re tired of trying, tired of hoping, tired of pushing through — I want to remind you:

You’ll be fine.

Not because everything will magically go away.

But because you’re stronger than you think.

Because God hasn’t forgotten you.

Because every tear, every prayer, every silent battle is not in vain.

For the One Who’s Waiting

Waiting is hard. Especially when you don’t know how long it’ll last or what’s on the other side. But you’re not stuck — you’re being prepared. You’re not forgotten — you’re being refined. So take heart, even here:

You’ll be fine.

Speak It to Yourself

Sometimes, you won’t hear it from anyone else. And that’s okay. Learn to say it to yourself:

In the mirror.

In the silence.

In the middle of the night.

Even if your voice shakes: “I’ll be fine.”

Because life will test you. But you will grow.

Because pain will come. But joy still follows.

Because storms may rage. But peace is possible.

In the End

You may not have it all figured out right now.

You may still be waiting for the breakthrough.

You may be walking through fire.

But you’re not alone. And it won’t last forever.

Take a breath. Take another step.

You don’t need all the answers today.

Just hold on to this:

You’ll be fine.

And not just fine — you’ll come out stronger, wiser, and more full of grace than you ever imagined.

The Process 2

You may need to read my first write-up on " The Process 1 " to enable you to follow through on this.  Now for that 9 years, I served in the church as a Music Director, it was not fun as I had to deal with a lot both from both within and outside my church. I never understood what to do and so there were days I was very angry and even felt like giving up (I did sometimes). I had personal issues that were distracting me from my service, but one thing kept me going and it was the love/passion I have for what I do. See, getting to the top is not easy and will never be not even in the future. The process is what builds you up to that future you desire only that you have to go through the pains which will enable you to teach others after you've overcome. N/B: Every opportunity to serve is part of the process. If you miss it, you've missed out. In summary, there will be obstacles on your way but you don't have to quit because quitters never win and winners nev...

7 things worship leaders need to stop doing.

So I came across this video on YouTube by Allen Parr (founder of The Beat) and felt like sharing with worship leaders because it will help and improve us. Seven (7) things worship leaders need to stop doing.  1. Stop making worship about you.  Worship is not about you but about God. Stop drawing attention to yourself. Avoid distraction and lead people to God.  2. Stop singing songs that are theologically inaccurate.  As worship leader, we have the opportunity to lead people into God's presence and also teach them something about God's nature. We can't afford to lead them astray by singing lyrics that are theologically inaccurate. Always know that lyrics are so powerful that people tend to remember them quickly.  3. Stop being predictable.  Be different. Be creative. Just do something different from the normal you.  4. Stop commanding people during worship. Our job as worship leaders is to lead people into God's presence and not to command...
